Guillamón and Torres united in VCF first team
Hugo Guillamón and Ferran Torres are two inseparable members of Spain's 'Class of 2000'. The pair won the Under-17s European Championships and Under-19s European Championships together, as well as finishing runners-up in the Under-17s World Cup.
Torres was on the pitch for his good friend's debut in LaLiga, which took place in San Sebastian on Matchday 25. He had previously given him advice in the dressing room, telling Guillamón "Be calm and play like you know how."

Whilst he had some familiar faces alongside him on the pitch, the VCF Academy product also had support from the stands. His father, Chimo, always accompanies him at every match, from the World Cup in India to the European Championships in Poland, and returned to San Sebastian -where his son was born- on Saturday night.

After the final whistle, Hugo received phonecalls and messages from friends and family. He was also congratulated at the Ciudad Deportiva, where he trained on Sunday before watching VCF Mestalla in action against Badalona.
Guillamón will now take on the number 33 when called upon by the first team, for whom he is set to feature when required alongside his friend Torres.
